Sunday School offers an opportunity for people in various age groups to join one another to explore the Bible together to enrich their relationship with God, which enrich their personal and family lives. The breakdown of various age groups provides interaction between the participants who are usually dealing with similar situations in life, this opens up conversations about everyday life challenges, the power of God, the power of God’s Word, the power prayer, the power of obedience, etc.… Sunday School can be liken to stairs, the bottom step represents the younger children and the top step represent the seniors of the church. Each step plays a major role in the spiritual development of each age group. For example, the 3-5 year old children learn how to interact with other children, which prepares them for attending school, teaches them how to share with others, respect others, as well as builds confidence at a young age. Sunday School is used as a part of ministry designed to enlighten and empower people to become lights in a dark world.
